CH2MHILL Hanford (CHG) and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) staff successfully completed the deployment of the Pit Viper system in the heel pit of C-104 on Wednesday, December 19, 2001. The Pit Viper completed all tasks without any system problems. In total, the Pit Viper completed size reduction and removal of the foam, wall spraying, wall grinding, scraping/scooping of debris, and debris removal.
