CH2MHILL Hanford (CHG) and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) staff removed the Pit Viper from the containment tent, and the cover plate was placed back on the pit. The system is expected to be released January 21 week and returned to the HAMMER (Hazardous Material Management and Emergency Response) test facility.

A lessons learned post job was held with the tank farm operations and robotics staff, and the results of this meeting will be documented in the deployment report being prepared by CHG. In all, the team felt the deployment was extremely successful.

Below are photographs showing the Pit Viper as it was being removed from the containment tent.
