Extraction and Recovery Line (MERLIN)

 The
major technical issues addressed in this proposal is the maturation of
previously developed technologies to the point where they can be deployed
with high confidence in FY 2002 and FY 2003 at the Fernald site. Reevaluation
of the needs at the Fernald site will be performed together with an updating
of an initial conceptual design (MERLIN) developed in support for an Acceseratled
Site Technology Deployment proposal submitted in FY 2000. Previously developed
technologies will be adapted and matured to address those needs. No new
technology will be developed.
